The Country House is set at the heart of the Forbes of Kingennie estate with timber-decked balconies and terraces overlooking the fishing ponds and beautiful Angus countryside. Within the Country House resides the spacious Waterside Restaurant, which serves a wide range of mouth watering fresh local produce and good old fashioned home baking daily. The centre-piece of the restaurant is a stunning two pool freshwater aquarium, which contains eight species of trout along with carp, roach and bream and is a great source of information and enjoyment for children and budding fishermen.

The new Cairn o'Mount bar is open 7 days. Situated beside the Waterside Restaurant, serving a wide range of Beers, spirits and snacks.

The Inglesmaldie function suite and Macnabs bar, which have been tastefully decorated in a contemporary Scottish style, also form part of the Country House.
