Scottish Golf Packages

Kingennie Golf Course surrounds the Forbes of Kingennie Estate and has been designed by Graham Webster of Team Niblick who has designed more golf courses in Scotland than any living Scotsman today. Locally the courses at Edzell, Murcar (Redesigned), Inchmarlo, Meldrum House and Aspire are to name but a few.

Kingennie Course plays around 2,800 Yards of the White Tees and has three Par 3’s, five Par 4’s and one Par 5. It has been carefully designed to be a challenge for all levels of golfer with many interesting hazards to embrace the “Risk and Reward” that Graham Webster has so carefully thought out. Every one of the Green’s have been built to USGA standard which is the very highest set in the golfing world today. All Tees and Greens have irrigation.

Our 2008 golf packages are coming soon – watch this space – and lodge visitors can enjoy free golf until 31 March 2008.

Cairngorms Putting Green

The Cairngorms Putting Green has been designed to emulate the actual Cairngorms Mountain Range right in the heart of Scotland. Although a test for even the most seasoned golfer, it is also there to help educate, children, visitors and locals alike.

Five of Scotland’s nine 4000 ft summits lie within the range, plus a further nine mountains higher than 3,500ft and four more exceeding 3000ft. There are also two lochs, Loch Avon, which lies at the base of the Cairngorm Munro itself, and Loch Einich, which lies at the base of the Sgor Goaith Munro. The USGA putting surface allows everybody to play up Glens, Corries, Passes and around Lochs that they may never normally have a chance to do.

Where else can you climb 18 munros, walk 7 Glens and as many Corries, Passes and Valleys in under an hour.
